New Sales & Customer Services team appointments.
Azbil Telstar’s subsidiary in India (Azbil Telstar India Company Limited), located in Hyderabad has been reinforced with new appointments to the Sales & Customer Service Divisions, to address an ongoing growth in demand for Life Sciences service & equipment solutions for the pharmaceutical & biotechnology industries. The new organization puts Azbil Telstar’s subsidiary in India in a stronger position to address a growing demand for process solutions in the region, whilst also having a greater direct presence in the market and bringing Telstar brand values closer to its customers.
In this context, in which the company embarks upon a new stage with a direct assistance in India, the professional relationship with ACG Group to exercise the role of Telstar’s representative agent for the Indian market has finished at the end of the year 2018. Telstar has had a presence in India since 2007 and has become a key player in the region with high-quality engineering services for the pharmaceutical industry.
Surajit Chandra, Area Sales Manager, will play a key role to expand Telstar’s overall business development in the Indian market. Holding a Master’s Degree in Human Physiology with specialization in Microbiology & Immunology, Surajit is a professional with over 15 years’ experience. His areas of expertise include consultancy & engineering services for the pharma, bio-pharma & biotechnology industries, and market research for aseptic processes, pharmaceutical regulation, process validation, regulatory affairs and GMP compliance. He has worked for global market leaders in the Life Science industry specializing in solutions and services in research, development and production of biotechnology and pharmaceutical drug therapies as well as engineering services. Throughout his career Surajit has carried out various functions as a team leader in sales & marketing, business development and projects management. In his position at Telstar, he takes over a renewed action plan to strengthen the Telstar brand reputation as a leader in engineering consultancy services & integrated process technology solutions for production in India, Nepal, Bhutan & Sri Lankan markets, directly covering current customer needs while expanding Telstar business in the South Asia area.
Anil Kumar Yamala has been appointed Telstar’s Customer Service & Operations Manager for its subsidiary in India to lead an integrated and multidisciplinary after-sales and technical assistance service. Holding a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, he has 10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical equipment especially in the formulation division. He had worked in engineering departments for MNC pharmaceutical organizations handling various scales of lyophilizers, loading and unloading systems, autoclaves, vial washing, tunnel and filling machines. During this time Anil moved into the service field and completed several installations and services all over India and overseas. He is taking responsibility at Telstar to strengthen and expand customer services all over India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and the Southeast, by offering quick and efficient support.
