Process training

Telstar’s extensive experience as a manufacturer of equipment and a process development laboratory, provides expertise and knowledge in lyophilization, moist heat sterilization, and hydrogen peroxide decontamination processes for the benefit of their customers. Process trainings will help the client to understand the basics of the process, what tools are used and what information they give us, how to interpret this information in graphs and much more.

Various formats, encompassing a diverse range of content and time allocations, are at your disposal, along with the flexibility of customization tailored to the unique interests and requirements of each customer. Telstar offers the option of either online or face-to-face training sessions aligning with the customer preferences. Freeze Drying

Two main programs are offered as standard to the customer:

Basic training (6h)

Advanced training (12h)

  • Basics and principles concepts of lyophilization.

  • Lyophilization steps (freezing, primary drying and secondary drying in depth).
  • Containers.
  • Lyophilization laboratory. Analysis of the thermal behaviour of a product.
  • Freeze-drying recipe design.
  • Scale-up.
  • Aesthetic appearance.

Our training programs at Telstar offer a high level of flexibility, allowing for customization based on the specific interests of our d customers. Whether your preference is a comprehensive full-day session or half-day format several days, we tailor our training to meet your unique scheduling needs. Additionally, our training options provides the convenience of online sessions or in-person training. Moreover, we offer the opportunity to participate in practical exercises, such as designing a freeze-drying recipe. This practical application not only enhances the learning experience but also ensures that participants gain valuable skills that can be directly applied in their projects.

Moist heat sterilization

Different options could be offered depending on the interest of the customer in the moist heat sterilization process, or the application they would like to learn about. An example of a training format being as follows:

Practical part of the course

The practical component of the course spans a comprehensive half-day, immersing participants in a hands-on experience that involves the execution of 3-4 cycles. These cycles encompass a diverse range of techniques, including working with saturated steam, steam + air mixture, and/or a superheated water system. This practical training not only deepens understanding but also provides invaluable exposure to various operational scenarios, enhancing the participants’ proficiency and problem-solving skills.

To further enhance the convenience and customization of our training programs, the practical sessions can be conducted either at Telstar’s facilities or at the customer’s preferred location. This flexibility ensures that participants can choose the environment that aligns best with their learning preferences and logistical considerations. Whether opting for the state-of-the-art facilities at Telstar or the comfort of their own premises, participants can expect a tailored and immersive practical training experience.

Hydrogen peroxide decontamination

Hydrogen peroxide as sterilant is becoming a standard in aseptic facilities where sterile products are manufactured. The use of this chemical is different depending on the application and/or technology behind. At Telstar, as experts in aseptic equipment manufacturing, we have also become experts in the application of complex chemical technology in a wide range of environments. Therefore, from the Process Laboratory we can design a science-based course that will not only give insights about the technology itself, but also the chemical and biological aspects of this type of decontamination process.
