A live virtual surface lab session, aimed at presenting different techniques, features, capabilities, and applications will take place on June 1st, 2022. This session is aimed at showcasing nanometer-scale surface characterizations of glass and ceramic products. In the framework of this session, live demos will be performed by Brucker laboratories.

• Nanoscale Investigation of glass & ceramics: Gorilla glass, float glass, and metallic glass

• Thin Film Analysis

The following techniques will be covered:

• Atomic Force Microscopy: For high-resolution, topographical, nanomechanical, nanoelectrical, and nanoelectrochemical characterization of materials.
• Nano-Indentation: Nano-mechanical characterization using nano-indentation methods
• Optical Profilers: For 2D roughness surface characterization and advanced 3D mapping and measurement of thin film thickness, stress, surface roughness and form.

The annual Nanomechanical Testing Conference Nanobrücken 2022 will take place during June 8-10 in Prague.

Nanobrücken is Bruker’s annual Nanomechanical Testing Conference and user meeting for international researchers and industrial leaders in nanoindentation and nanotribological testing. This event includes oral presentations from leading research groups, as well as live demonstrations and discussions with Bruker experts. Topics will be addressed on advanced nanoindentation and associated techniques, testing in extreme environments, in-situ testing in SEM/TEM, theory/simulation and biomechanical testing.

Registration and Call for Abstracts

The company has opened a Call for Abstracts stage, which may be submitted during the registration process via the Nanobrücken website. Please download and use the abstract template. Topics will include advanced nanoindentation and associated techniques, testing in extreme environments, in-situ testing in SEM/TEM, theory/simulation and biomechanical testing. Abstract submission deadline is March 31, 2022.
